With Summer in full swing, and younger family members doing their own cooking, sometimes without parents being present, it is great to know that there is a fine product available to help protect homes and lives. FireAvert was developed by a career firefighter, Peter Thorpe, and was just recently featured on the popular show Shark Tank. It is the only product on the market that prevents kitchen fires and Lori Greiner invested in the product. FireAvert was presented on the show; and the company received an investment to get off the ground and running. The sample we were sent installed in about five minutes and works great. We had a stove fire last year in our kitchen, and if it had been installed then, our electric stove might not had been totaled, and that night would not have been so traumatising.
